Mi Shield Hand Rub Sanitizer 500ml
Mi Shield Rub sanitizer is a combination of 0.5% Chlorhexidene Gluconate with 70% Ethyl Alcohol which is proven to be more effective than 1% Triclosan , 4% Chlorhexidene & 7% Povidone Iodine formulations. It kills more than 99.9% microorganisms within a short contact time of 30seconds.
Mi Shield formulation allows the active ingredients to penetrate the stratum corneum of the skin, forming a protective layer. This gives rise to persistent residual anti-microbial activity for the entire period of surgery.
Mi Shield rub is dosed with skin protecting moisturizing formulation . This prevents the skin from getting dry and provides exceptional soothing effect.
At physiologic pH, chlorhexidine salts dissociate and release the positively charged chlorhexidine cation. The bactericidal effect is a result of the binding of this cationic molecule to negatively charged bacterial cell walls. Alcohol provides instant disinfectant and give long lasting effects when combines with chlorhexidine.

Directions for Use:
Surgical Hand Sanitization:
Rub on clean and dry hand upto elbow level after dispensing 6 pushes from calibrated Mi Shield Rub dispenser pump (9ml). Pay special attention to nails, grooves and intra digital spaces. Rub vigorously for 3 minutes.
Personal Hand Sanitization:
Rub on clean and dry hand after dispensing 2 pushes from calibrated Mi Shield Rub dispenser pump (3ml). Pay special attention to nails, grooves and intra digital spaces. Rub vigorously from 30 seconds.
Precautions:
- Do not use in case of known hypersensitivity to Chlorhexidene.
- Keep away from fire.
- Do not mix with detergents or other chemicals.
- Avoid direct contact with eyes.
- Flush eyes with fresh water in case of contact.
- Keep out of reach of children.
